Call for Papers

Rocky Mountain Ruby is excited to host a diverse and dynamic conference in Boulder, Colorado on September 28-29, 2026. We are seeking a broad range of talks to captivate Ruby developers at every level.
Join us in creating an inspiring and educational experience for the Ruby community!
Travel and accommodation support up to $500 is available for speakers, based on financial need. To apply, please contact us.

Guidelines

  • Variety: We welcome multiple proposals from each speaker.
  • Topics: Both technical and non-technical subjects are encouraged, as long as they cater to a Rubyist audience. Talks can range from beginner to advanced levels.
  • Duration: Presentations should be 30 to 45 minutes in length.
  • Delivery: Talks must be delivered in English and in-person, in Boulder.

Questions? Answered.

Will the conference talks be recorded?
Yes! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will be recording all the talks and making them available to attendees after the conference.
Will there be any food or drinks?
We plan to provide a light breakfast, coffee, and a light snack on each day. Lunch is on your own so that you can enjoy Boulder cuisine and meet other attendees. We are planning a social event on Monday evening with food and drinks.
How many attendees do you expect?
Our goal is 175. The Venue can hold up to 200.
Will there be a job fair?
No, but there will be a #jobs channel on our conference Slack group and several sponsors have openings that they would love to discuss with you.
